Dispute a rating
You operate a rated service and believe a measurement or grade is wrong? We want to
know: a register is only worth anything if its errors get fixed.
How to file a dispute
Email [email protected] with:
- your service's domain as it appears in the register,
- what you believe is wrong (grade, availability, latency, price, protocol class),
- anything that helps us reproduce your view: a timestamp, a sample response, a changed endpoint.
Proof that you control the domain (for example an email from it, or a
temporary DNS TXT record) speeds things up but isn't required to trigger a re-check.
What we do with it
- We re-probe your service independently: disputes trigger fresh measurements, they don't replace them.
- You get an answer within 5 business days.
- Confirmed errors are corrected in the next build of the register and noted in the correction log.
- If the measurements reproduce, the rating stands, and we'll show you exactly what we measured and how to verify it yourself.
What a dispute can't do
There is no way to pay for a better grade, a faster listing, or a removal from the
register, for you or anyone else. Fix the service, and the next probes will show it;
scores follow measurements automatically.
