Our own infrastructure probes every service in the public x402 catalog every hour: does it answer with spec-valid payment terms, how fast, and does the price it demands match the price it advertises. Scores are computed from those measurements with published formulas; every number on a report card traces to probes we ran, and the raw definitions are on the page, not in a black box.
Today: self-funded; the unpaid probes cost close to nothing and run on our own hardware. If this becomes a business, revenue comes from the buyer side only: paid score lookups and routing referrals. Never from the services being rated.
